Algavista is a joint venture between world leaders in extraction technology and organic microalgae cultivation. They combine the organic source of Spirulina and clean extraction technology to make Phycocyanin for applications natural food colouring and nutraceuticals.
The company wanted a strong visual identity system that fortified their brand presence and brand collateral.
The most challenging aspect with the Algavista project was creating a strong visual identity system in a B2B context.
We knew that it would be imperative to have unique design elements that could blend in well with sales creatives like brochures and standees.
The colours were chosen from the 3 primary sources of Algavista's final product. The colours being Blue (Phycocyanin), Green (Chlorella) and Orange (β-Carotene).
The elements were crafted based on opacity and shape variations. The design system retained B2B sensibility in the design aesthetic while maintaining flexibility for use across media.
After several rounds of meetings with the client, it was clear to us what was required. A extraordinarily unique website encompassing the major inferences from the visual identity system we had designed for them.
As the client was targeting large companies in the food, beverages & nutraceuticals industry around the world, the only way to catch their attention was through an eye catching website with interactive animations. We all were super excited and impressed by the final product, the designers came up with.
